Saint-Louis ( The Compagnie des Cristalleries de Saint Louis) was founded in 1767 in Münzthal (French: Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche) in Lorraine. The first paperweights were produced around 1845.
Saint-Louis made various designs of paperweight in the 19th century including millefiori mushrooms, scrambles, concentrics, carpet grounds, millefiori rondellos, as well as various lampwork flowers, bouquets and fruit.
