The
Chinese factories have made some high quality paperweights in the past
- and many not so high quality ones. That trend continues today. Below
are some images from current catalogues: these paperweights typically
cost from 30p to £3.00 per piece ($0.50 to $8.00) when purchased
by the crate. The cheaper ones often turn up in petrol station shops
in the UK, costing £4.99 to £9.99. The skill and workmanship
often makes them good value for money when offered for sale for a few
£s, but caveat emptor.....they sometimes turn up as antiques,
with antique prices!
